Drug Policy

The school understands that drug use of legal and illegal substances is common in our society and that our students will be faced with many choices, which may impact on their well-being.

The school’s drug policy has been developed to prevent and reduce drug related harm in our school community. A copy of the CBHS Drug Policy developed in 2005 is available from reception.

The use of alcohol, tobacco products, cannabis (marijuana) and other drugs is controlled by Commonwealth and State Law. The school will enforce these laws at all times. 
The possession and consumption of alcohol and cannabis by students (regardless of age) is illegal. The smoking of cigarettes is prohibited on school property.
