2025 Aboriginal Student Transition to High School Half Day Visit

9:00-1:00pm at Christies Beach High School

We invite all Year 6 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolling in our school for 2026 to a half day transition visit. This event will provide a great opportunity to form and build positive relationships with students and staff.

Students will partake in a range of relationship building and Aboriginal Education community activities including:

• traditional weaving and beading lead by the Southern Weavers
• cooking with traditional native foods
• cultural art workshop with the Aboriginal Education team.
