Our Learning Engagement and Wellbeing Assistant Principal and Student Wellbeing Leader work in collaboration with Youth Workers to support student welfare and wellbeing by providing school based wellbeing interventions and service referrals for members of the school community.
Expected outcomes of these positions include:
- provision of effectives strategies for staff that support positive wellbeing of all students
- successful re-engagement and participation in learning for students with complex wellbeing issues
- support structures on topical wellbeing issues identified by staff, students and families
- effective liaison and referrals to outside agencies to address wellbeing concerns
- access to Special Programs offered at the school tailored to individual wellbeing needs.
Seeking Wellbeing Support
Students are encouraged to discuss general wellbeing needs with the Year Level Leader or directly with any member of the Wellbeing Team. An appropriate time will then be arranged with the correct staff member who will provide the support.
