Principal’s Welcome
At Christies Beach High School our priority is to work together with children and their families to deliver high quality education and wellbeing programs.
The programs are rigorous, innovative and personalised to ensure that every child has the opportunity to be a successful learner, a confident and creative individual, and an active and informed citizen.
Our students are challenged and flourish because each child’s passions, talents and gifts are embraced and nurtured. We are a school where all students have a voice and their individual educational and wellbeing needs are met. It is a school with outstanding, well qualified, passionate and dedicated educators. Learning thrives because the wellbeing of students and teachers is a high strategic priority. Learning is characterised by an embedded use of technology but people always come first.
Christies Beach High School is moving to a more open, investigative and collaborative pedagogy model – away from the one class, one teacher, one room approach – to a broader ranging approach where students and teachers work across-curriculum and across-spaces as their learning tasks require.
Our school values of respect, inclusion, achievement and innovation underpin our commitment to providing young people with high quality teaching and learning programs in engaging and supportive environments.
